Need help lowering front end

I’m looking for quantitative help on lowering the front end to improve my position. What I’m looking for is a compilation of armrest height relative to the pursuit bar for the various clip-on options. I’m presently using Syntace C-2, which I know is fairly tall, but I’d like to have some numbers in hand before committing the dollars for something new. I’ve already done all I reasonably can with the stem (no spacers and negative 16 degree stem), so other than a new frame, the aero bars seem to be the place to look.

In summary, can we consolidate some of the numbers on armrest height for readily available clip-ons? It might even be useful to include armrest heights of integrated bars so it is all collected in one handy place (beside being collected in Tom D’s memory).

Thanks, Dave

well if this helps, the HED clip-lite bars are practically sitting on the top of the base bar. The bottom of the arm-rest is about 1mm from the top of the base bar.

I put on a negative 40 degree stem with gave me another 3cm’s.

Also bought the Hed bars. The pads are about 3 or 4 cm’s lower then the profile pads. With the Hed clip on I guess you would get 3cm lower then the Syntace bars.

I think the C-2’s are the same height as the Streamliners. I just changed from the Streamliners to the Vision Tech clip-ons and dropped 3/4 inch. I still have the spacers in the Vision’s and can drop another inch by removing them, but if I did the armrests would hit the basebar so an angled basebar would be needed to do it.

Hope this helps
