Need help for ironman australia! any aussi here?

bonjour everyone

So, i will be racing ironman australia for my first time ever! Very excited about this race. I m arriving in sydney on the 27th in the morning and will be staying there for a few days with a good friend.

I need help for 2 things!

Anyone from sydney that can help me out for a ride to Port Macquarie any times in the week leading up to the race??? Also, anyone driving back right after the award banquet from Port to sydney??? I would be happy to help with driving expense!

Also, i m in the middle of a big complicated international trip where i end up flying everywhere and with very limited baggage allowance. I dont have any race wheels for the race. Anyone in sydney or going to port macquarie that as a set of race wheels that i could borrow/rent??? any expo shop on site that rent wheels??? I m idealy looking for a clincher set in the best case scenario…

I’ll Be there but i’m from Queensland. Hope you find some help. Good luck for the race! you will love the course. Hot and windy is what i’m hoping for.

Create an account on the Aussie forum Transitions and put your post there. There will be heaps of them travelling to Port from Sydney. There’l also be plenty of people driving there from QLD and VIC who could loan you some wheels for sure.
