Need answer on tubular tire repair with flat spot from locking up brake, with slighly showing underlayer rubber

I have a tubular tire with a little bit of under layer showing, maybe a few mm in size. I did this by unfortunately locking up brakes on carbon wheels. The tire is a contential Giro. Should I just add some crazy glue over thin area ??? Any suggestions would be great. The tire has plenty of tread left and dont want to throw it out.

Thanks.

Regardless of tread left on it or price if I had a tire like the one you are describing I’d replace it prior to the next ride. No sense tempting fate by riding on it when there is nothing between you and the pavement but a layer of stretched too thin spandex.

I’d make it a trainer tire. But that’s me.

The tire is a contential Giro.

That alone means it belongs in the bin with the tags on it… They ride like a$$.

Make it a limp home spare and get some nice tires.
