Need a triathlon in Malibu Area. Suggestions anyone?

I am looking for a good tri in the Malibu area for Mid/late September. Anyone have any suggestions or some good races? Preferably Half iron or Oly’s…

There’s nothing better than the Nautica Malibu Triathlon. I’ve done this race several times, and had a blast each time. It’s a little shorter than oly distance (.5mi swim, 18mi bike, 4mi run) though. The race has a great atmosphere, lots of great post-race food and entertainment, and an AWESOME course.

How about the LA Traithlon on 9/12? I have done it a few times and and biking through LA with no traffic is awesome, however, being a point to point race there are some logistical issues to work out.

carpinteria triathlon is a great race. sprint and oly course and it’s in september.
