I’m looking for a video of someone that does a crossover kick. I have a friend that says he does one and wants me to help him out.
I don’t know exactly what the crossover kick is, I think I know but would like to see a video of someone doing it.
It looks like Katie Ledecky does is sometimes in her 800 free here:

Maybe what the guy in the third video here http://www.swimtypes.com/arnie.html does? They call it “scissor kicking”, but it is a) caused by cross-overs at the front of the stroke and b) the legs DO cross when watched from above.

Thanks so much but that’s not what the kick is described to me as. Perhaps I’m using the wrong term.
It’s described to me as a two beat kick with an extra 2 short beats between them as a person finishes their pull.

I call that a 4 beat kick.
You do one half as if you were doing a 6 beat kick, and the other half as if you were doing a 2 beat kick. Pretty common.
