I don’t care about whiz bang features. Do any of the phones have better sound technology than others? I just want to be able to hear clearly.
Most old people I know just get one of these.
shut the hell up!
Any cheap nokia " soap bar " has good volume and battery life / good signal strength .
No frills / low minutes users , $80- 100 for 600- 800 minutes a year - pay as you go . I don’t use mine enough to get a 2 year contract.

It’s not the volume, its the sound quality. The way it is garbled and clips off the end of words. Maybe it is verizon
shut the hell up!
And I would like to add “fuck you, Erik” to that.
If I remember correctly, this website: http://www.cellreception.com/ has some pretty good information on both local cell reception and phone reviews. A lot of it is user-based so the more replies the better the accuracy.

Tim,
I suffer from a moderate to severe hearing loss, and have a huge problem with cell phones.
Does the Verizon store by you let you try out there phones?
You might need to shop around a little to find a phone thats right for you.
I’m with Verizon as well, and unfortunately I’m still trying to find the perfect phone.
