yeah these shoes are pretty sweet, i have a pair of the cycling bont shoes and really love them. The carbon is super stiff and gives great power transfer. Anyone riddent the Bont Chronos? Not sure how they would be for a long bike leg, but for a TT i bet they would rock. Wiggins wore them in the TdF i hear.
They look hot… as in temperature. I know the site list “40 air vents on frontal area of shoe and air gills in arch area.” I don’t see them. They must be small. I can’t see even the pro’s using them in anything longer than a prologue.

How do Bonts vent? I am sure they are all geat and stuff but my feet burst into flames just looking at any of their models.
i have the cycling model and they are fine. I have done many 80+ mile ride in them with no problem. I actually had to put tape over the vents last winter because they were a bit drafty. your foot definantly has to adjust to the shoe, some ppl get hot spots etc, but for me its worth it. after about 3 rides i stopped noticing any discomfort.
I have also raced a duathlon in them this summer and found they worked great (~20 mi bike).

Saw these at Nytro…looked very, very hot & a little too rigid. You want a good insole & a little flex if you’re doing long distance IMO, 112 is rough on the feet. Had a pair of Rocket 7s & they were hot & very rigid–these looked even more hot/rigid.
