I am seriously proud of this sport and the athletes in it. That race had everything–great performances, new records, human interest, everything.
My wife is very involved with the equestrian world, and Saturday afternoon’s are usually spent at the stables. She decided to stay home yesterday afternoon and watch the coverage and was glued…and I mean glued…to the race as Chrissie and Mirinda were in those final miles.
It really is the greatest race in the world.
You kidding me? Last years race was fantastic, down to the wire on both men and woman’s race… and it was barely mentioned in the NBC special. I was REALLY disappointed last year. I bet they do more of the same.
