Was Natasha Badmann wearing a wire during the race? A radio? An ipod? On the top back neckline of her race singlet, there appeared to be a little white wire that was sticking out…any thoughts on what that was?

I believe that would be an instant DQ. I doubt she would take that kind of chance.
Weren’t they transmitting bio-data on several athletes?
That must be it…I haven’t found any photos but the whole day while I was watching online and the cameras showed the side view,you could see the wire.

i didn’t think they were recording her data. i know it was faris and a couple of others, but not sure about her.
If you look at the photo gallery from Ironmanlive updates and photos section there is a clear shot of her pre race w/ her sunglasses (w/ a built in earpiece for music) and you can see in this picture there clearly is some white wire sticking out of a tiny pocket at the top of her race top. It will take you a while to get through all the photos, but that’s the only picture I’ve seen to date. I don’t know how to post jpg’s to this site or else I would.

Where was the data transmitted to? Is there a webpage where we can see the data? It would be great to see. I really enjoyed following the wattage data being transmitted for Al Sultan and Sinballe.
Perhaps she was listening to the incorrect time splits on ironmanlive.com, made her think Jones was even closer than she was and she got energized to push even harder.
