Naples is very active in multsport/triahtlon. Home to Joe Bonness and many other competitive triathletes. Try the Naples Area Triathletes web site. NATS.info It’s a little out of date, but the basic info is the same.

Thanks for all the info - my sister-in-law came up for Eagleman to do a relay with my wife and has been bitten by the tri-bug.
She currently lives in Naples and complains that fitness community is limited to 65 year old speedwalkers. She just graduated from college and is pretty athletic - I think she could benefit from some guidance and traithlete fellowhip.

I was down there in April and May and there where tons of triathletes riding on gulf coast. I of course was riding my father - in -laws beach bike with full kit on, I had a lot of interesting looks.

She definitely lives in the wrong part of town. The Tri community is very active. The local race was June 5th and had over 450 entries, close to 90% live locally. Lots of novices, recreational as well as experienced racers. There are at least a dozen IM Hawaii finishers in town. Including the 40-44 year old age group winner at Alcatraz yesterday.
Be happy to set her up with training groups in her level. Is she single? Some young talented studs in town.

I thought in Naples a triathlon was lawn darts, shuffleboard, AND a nap all on the same day?
