I have a somewhat minor but nagging pain on the top of my foot that I have been unable to diagnose with my limited medical knowledge and searches of the usual hypocondriac sites on the net.
The tendon/ligament or whwatever it is on the highest part of my right foot – directly in line with my big toe, about 3 inches back from the base of the toe aches for several hours after any run of 10K or more. It’s also very difficult if not impossible to cross my big toe over the second toe until the pain subsides.
And the fact that It hurts to cross my toes makes me want to do it all the more for some reason – kinda like having a loose tooth.
Has anyone ever had this problem? Is there anything that can be done for it beyond the usual RICE stuff?
Thanks for any info y’all may have in advance,
JR
