OK everyone she has a name!!
You all have been wonderful with coming up with some great ones and it was a hard choice but here is the story!!
Her name is Cadence or Cadie for short. The story goes like this, I get her home after dark last night, now remember she is a black lab. I take her out for her first walk around the neighborhood and she breaks her new collar and takes off like lightning into the dark. Luckily I live on a dead end street neighborhood. I am running after her, not seeing her at all, and calling her every name I could remember from this site. Lava, Jackson, Oxy, Bonk, Twitch, everything!!! Even very bad pronunciation of Hawaiian names. 
I hit on Cadence and I heard her running back and she came and sat right in front of me. It was a done deal. Whether she was named something like that before, Cadence is her name now.
Thanks again everyone. She will definitely be a great running partner!
