Nagging Injury post IM - Trigger Points?

I’ts now been six weeks since Ironman Cozumel and I still have this nagging injury that is difficult for anyone to diagnose. It’s an odd pain that begins during the propulsive phase of running…pulling your leg back. The pain goes from the behind my knee down through the center of my calf. Has anyone had a similar injury? My wife (who is a PT) believes anything wrong with soft tissue is ultimately a trigger point. I now have every possible massaging, trigger point releasing gizmo money can buy and still continue to have this pain. Any ideas? I’ve literally only worked out about 15 hours since my race so I have given this plenty of rest time…thanks!
