Yes, the window of my truck was smashed and the my tri bike was stolen. It is a blue Guru Trilite with DA 9spd., FSA carbon cranks, 54 tooth DA big ring and custom made one of a kind carbon straight bars. Also, SI 165 gm. seat and USA ALien post. Please keep your ears and eyes peeled. Thanks for all the help.
Oh the BASTARD!
Where abouts was this?
That sucks! This is the second time in a couple of months someone has had their bike stolen from their car… Where are you located?
I’m sorry to hear about it. Where did it happen?
Sorry man - looks like based on that website it was in FL. I could be wrong though.
Brother lee,
Sorry to hear about that, Ill be on the key everyday the next couple of weeks, I know what your bike looks like so Ill be on the lookout, they better PRAY that i dont see them riding your bike. Where did it happen??? Does your truck have the N/C plates??? I was there all last week and part of this week but didnt see anything suspicious.
My bike is a 55cm P3 so if that fits you and you need to race then your welcome to use it.
Let me know
I hate Thieves.

Lee,
Sorry to hear about your bad luck. We’ll try to spread the word around here in Sarasota. Where exactly was it stolen?
Saw you here a couple of weeks ago when you were doing the TV commentary for the Coca-Cola Classic Sprint Tri on Lido Key.
Hope somebody spots it soon and they catch the jerk who took it.
Mark
I’ll keep eyes out…but I’d be it will be parted out on Ebay by the end of the week, with the exception of the odd bars…Have you called your insurance company? Are they willing to help?
This really sucks, man. I think its one of all of our worst nightmares…right behind being hit…
Hope you get some satisfaction…
Lee-Sorry.
That sucks Lee. One of the perils of living in Miami. Your bike is probably in a container awaiting shipment out of the port.
seriously post a photo of the stolen bike here if you can.
i’ll remember that image and keep an eye out at every race i go to. a photo will really help…
in what city was it stolen?
Hmm, just what I was hoping to hear as I’m moving to MIA in a few weeks. Exactly what part of town were you parked in? Overnight or in broad daylight? Sorry to hear.
That really sucks…I’f I find the guy, do you want him hurt or killed?
Here is a link to Lee’s bike from a previous thread

BTW: Had my ride and gear in the car for tomorrows’ 6:00 AM ride at the Key, but after reading your post I went outside and brought my philly back inside where she is safe and sound.
I’d offer mine, but a 59 is a little big for you.
I vote that he should hurt for a while, than…
Lee, Sorry to hear that! I’ll keep an eye out, too… Were you at Hobie Beach? What time of day? Please let us know, and we can spread the word to be cautious…
That sucks
But you did say on local tv that tri bikes go for $5,000 or so.
Sometimes publicity aint such a good thing.
Damn Lee,
Two crappy flights and now this! Well, if it makes it to NYC ill keep an eye out-
On a good note, that Compex for Heather and other stuff for you went out today!
Edit: Stolen at his house.
Lee, I’m sorry to hear about your bike. I was hit by a car the other day and the first question out of my mouth was not about my shoulder which had swollen to the size of a small child, but how was my bike.
Last month my roommate had her bike stolen in San Francisco. She put it up on the message board here. I really believe that it is bad Karma to steal anything, but for some reason, it hurts us especiallly when we lose our bike. Our bike becomes an extension of our personality when we exercise. Besidea, getting a new bike when you love the old one is a pain. Fitting it is a pain. The whole process is a pain.
One thing my roommate told me was when you make the claim, make sure you include everything on the bike - tires, and anything you kept n the little pack behind the seapost. She even put down her water bottle cages.
Hope you find the bike and he crackhead who took it goes away fo a very long time.
Jason
Spoke to Lee this morning. He is at a training camp in Clermont and while he did see everyone’s replys, he was unable to sign on. He asked me to express his gratitude to all for their concern. His bike was stolen in front of his house just prior for his departing to Clermont. He feels someone must have been watching him and his activities.
He sounded pretty bumed out, but sent his thanks to everyone.
