If Bob Roll had no hands and arms, could he talk at all?

Kirsten Gum is O.K., but I don’t really think she’s hot.

Is there really a team named “Leaky Gas?” I mean, who would buy “leaky gas?”
It’s liquigas, but I think it makes for great english. Perhaps Kirsten is filled with some. Gum is yum.
Until the TTT today, I thought Leaky Gas was the awful name of one of the team leaders. I felt really dumb.
Phil Liggett is english, for God’s sake. Why does he have to try to pronounce everything like he is French, Spanish, or Italian.
It’s “Lick-wah Gas,” Phil. Or, if you’re going to try to talk like a Franishian, say “Liki Gahsss.”

Better as a blonde in my opinion…
Better as a blonde in my opinion …
Is it me or does she seem less of a bubblehead than when she was blonde???
Why is it suddenly pronounced T-Mo-bile instead of T-Mobil?
Is it me or does she seem less of a bubblehead than when she was blonde???
Lol…maybe they just give her more respectable material now that she’s not a blonde…she never really came across to me as a bubblehead—but perhaps I was distracted enough not to notice…!
As The Who once said…
I’m goin’ home
And when I wanna go home
I’m goin’ mobile
Well, I’m gonna find a home
And we’ll see how it feels
Goin’ mobile
Keep me movin’
I have to disagree about Kirsten Gum. i hadn’t seen any of her reports until last night and I was like “who is that.” After a second I realized who it was–she looks much hotter with dark hair in my opinion and I’m married to a blonde so its not like I only like brunettes. she sure is better than that woman they had doing the “wine report” last year.
BTW, who was annoyed by the see-saw back and forth between Liggett/Sherwen and Trautwig/Roll last night? Please stick to one or the other.
I have a theory, and that is that “hot points” can be added to a woman if she has a cool or unusual name, like Kirsten Gum. Maybe it’s just me, but I think I find her hotter as Kirsten Gum than I would as Kirsten Smith, or Mary Jones.
Or, maybe I just shouldn’t have had that three martini lunch today.
Dave Zabriskie asks the obvious (from davezabriskie.com):
Here is an on the bike interview with Charlie Wegelius of the Liquigas Team.
DZ: Charlie have you ever actually had Liquigas?
CW: You mean like when the s*#t comes out of your ass in a Liquid?
DZ: Sure.
CW: I had to quit the Giro in 2003 because of it.
DZ: Thanks for the interview.
I rather enjoyed Paul Sherwin’s “American Announcer Voice” last night. He reminded me of Michael Palin doing the American tourist in Monty Python.
Sherwin: “Tah-day they are a ridin’ through the La-warr val-lee.” – Or something like that anyway.
Trautwig said he spoke better “American” than Bobke.
I believe, and I may be wrong, that on the evening “expanded” coverage, they use Al and Bob to fill in the blanks from the early broadcast. That’s probably why you get the flipping back and forth. Stick to the eary broadcast and then you’ll only get Liggett/Sherwen.
“stick to the early broadcast” Huh?
Some of us have to work during the day, or is it just me?
Tivo, baby, Tivo.
VCR, Tivo, even a dvd burner.
All things invented in the pst 50 years
Yeah, well. Not all of us have tivo or are technologically advanced enough to program a VCR
