My Swimming Workout Tonight

Hey All !

So, I’m fairly new to swimming (I swim about 1-2x a week right now) and here was tonights workout:

Warm-Up 300 Free, 100 Kick, 200 Pull

600 m
300m
300m

150 x 3 m

75x 6 = Cruise, Build, Easy… per 25m
(This part of the swim started burning my shoulders, and I LOVED it! )

300m= Cool Down
Total of= 3000 Meters in 60 minutes (including a few rests)

Can the more advanced TRIers comment on this swim at all!? Is this an average time for a swim like this?

Looks a-ok to me. 3km for a session in an hour is fine. At my masters group, we’d do around 3.4-3.km in an hour, but the lane that did that much can hold 1.20/100m pace relatively easily.
