My Spectacular Singapore 70.3 RR (AKA my first 70.3 as a pro!)

to commemorate the first time my name has shown up in the race results of a bonafide ST article
(http://www.slowtwitch.com/News/Alexander_Swallow_take_Singapore_70.3_wins_733.html) I figure I should post a link to my race report:

It was my first time slugging it out with the stellar line-up of pros…good choice, huh, no pressure on me. :stuck_out_tongue: I wasn’t anywhere close to the winner, but it was definitely a great experience and a solid training day for IM China! considering that I ran the equivalent of a marathon on the track (and PR’d by 36mins) just 5 days before the race, and still got a 70.3 run PR, I’m pretty stoked about my fitness. yeah! two run PR’s in a week and back to normal training already!

TBB training camp is even better the second time around, last time was more of a “rookie camp” and most of the superstars had gone home after Kona. We have a bigger team this year with almost 30 of us and more sponsors. I’m also here for mucher longer (almost 3 months) so learning tons from my speedy teammates and that clever coach of ours. half the team just left camp to conquer the rest of the world in the coming weeks, so watch out! We’ll be sending a big crew over to China in 3 weeks, I’m looking forward to smashing my 12+ hour result from last year.
