I despise the Eagles too. But I’m predicting Eagles Patriots in the big dance. Nothing would make me happier than for the Eagles to win today then lose the superbowl. If they’re in the big game, then win or lose, it doesn’t matter, those morons will burn their own city down.

Hmm. I was pulling for Philadumpia to lose today. But this sheds a different prespective. If I KNEW the Eagles would lose the Bowl (especially if TO returns), then I’d agree to let them have today. I don’t want them OR Atlanta to have a shred of success, so I’m really screwed there.
And how anyone could want the Steelers to beat the Patriots – arguably the most humble and classy “team” in all of sports – is beyond me. Even if you’re FROM Pittsburgh, you should consider pulling for the Pats.

I respect that. I grew up in North Jersey, where you need to be able to recite the words to Thunder Road, and swear your allegiance to the Gints if you want to graduate from High School. Unfortunately for me, my path through life has created some pretty serious conflicts. I kind of like the Iggles. I can never admit this to my family, but I don’t hate them like I should. I did an internship with them while in PT school, and got to know some of the players (I got a ball signed by the team and gave it to my nephew, my brother in law, a Gint fanatic, promptly divorced my sister). I liked them, and want them to do well (of course if the Gints were still in it I would have to draw a line here). I can’t truly hate the Cowgirls either, Parcells means too much to the history of the Big Blue. So I admire your uncompromising hatred. You have loyalty and strength, whereas I have confusion and weakness of conviction.
Oh yeah, I FRIGGIN HATE THE GODDAMN STEELERS.
I really don’t care who comes to the Super Bowl as long as this day passes quickly and we determine the final two and I can sell out my last 2 rooms!!
As of this evening after the final game is played we can expect another 20,000 people to call to reserve rooms for the Super Bowl. I only need two of them willing to pay the big bucks for a room!!
