so I just got my P4 frameset and want to build it super cool…functionally and aesthetically. What front brake should I use? i saw someone use what appears to a Campy Delta? Looks aero, just ugly. i kind of want black.
What kind of brake is on the P4 in the image below? I can’t tell? Current Campy? I know it’s not as aero, but sure looks good.
I’ve had Zero G in the past. I think they would look good, but they don’t stop very well. Any suggestions?
I’m sure if you email Cervelo, they’d be happy to tell you.
Then your Zero G brakes may not have been adjusted right. I think they work perfectly fine.
That looks like a Campagnolo record skeleton brake. You could always spraypaint the delta brake if you want.
Either way, my dog just farted right next to me while she’s taking a nap and I’m very offended.

Ugly? As Greg said in that thread: “You know not of what you speak” 
That’s a Hooker brake. And it “looks” (to the wind) more beautiful than most any other brake. Besides, what’s more important to you, actually going fast or your “kinda” desire for a black brake?
edit: BTW, whatever brake is on that P4 build above, that “space frame” arm and massive cable housing hanging out in the breeze just makes me cringe…especially considering the context of what’s in the view behind it. Now THAT’S “ugly”…
If you want a black brake, you could always rig something up like I did:
The brake in the top photo is indeed a Hooker. Ugly ? If you have one of those ugly brakes you want to get rid of, let me know.
