Okay Slowtwitch,
I'm sitting watching the warm sun stream through the open window. The temprature is well over fifty degress f. But the problem, Wind! gusting between twenty and thiry miles per hour. So my question, for who ever posts first: should I take advantage of the warm weather and get in my first ride of the year? Hurry up....I'm waiting.

Wife and I went for our first ride last Sunday. Took the old hybrid beaters out fo 30 kms. Ran a 5 kms race in the morning, took the dog x-country skiing and then did the bike ride. Got our triple in.

Well, I must say, it was quite a bit cooler than fifty degrees by the time I got out. No gloves and mesh shoes makes for frozen digits. Painful, but I’m glad I did it. Merry Christmas to all.
