Best Gift I ever gave myself.
Oh, that is quite nice.
Would you happen to have a been a member of the merry band of fellows who once distributed business cards at their job sites emblazoned with the “Damage Inc.” moniker?
If so, thank you my friend. You are not to be trifled with.
May I be the first to say nice bike, your seat is too high, your stem is too high and flipped the wrong way, your front tire is on backwards.
Thanks Tom.
Damage Inc is just a reference to the Metallica song.
I chose this model for the 2007 upgrades with the unique 2006.5 paint scheme
Very nice bike! I’m sure the other side is even nicer. Please turn it around.
Thanks. Here you go.

Thats better. Sharp bike I like the colors…enjoy!
nice bike! i have the '06 version (black and white) and love it. I see a couple differences from the version I have…the carbon seatpost (which looks sweet, btw), alum. seatstays and better tires. I have a Polar CS computer on mine also. I like the red accents on the new version…looks awesome.
What saddle is that? Was that the stock, or did you swap it out?
Enjoy it!
When QR got rid of the carbon seatstays, they upgraded to carbon seatpost, FSA CarbonCrank and DA front derailer. I think its a great change. The saddle is a stock QR. Yeah, the Polar CS 200 is nice and I like the wireless cadence.
Ah. Very good.
Dead sexy !
I love the QR bikes, just can’t figure out where the spending limit should be on one…Tequilo, Seduza,Caliente, or Lucero…hmmm.
huh - how do you know that?
your front tire is on backwards.
The ‘clamp’ (or whatever you call it) of the skewer.
oh - is that supposed to go on the left? why?
The ‘clamp’ (or whatever you call it) of the skewer.
I’m not sure why but I’ve always seen the front and back “clamps” on the left side. Maybe the back one to keep away from the derailer and all that other stuff on that side, and then to keep the front one on the left for consistency.
Sheldonbrown’s site states “General practice is to install the skewer so the handle is on the bicycle’s left side.”
hmm - yeah, i always put the rear skewer clamp on the left, but don’t see the need (other than consistency, as you say) to have the front one on the left.

Very sharp looking bike. Welcome to the QR Tri-bike Cartel. Screw the Cervelo Mafia!
I noticed your Polar Cadence sensor mounted on the downtube. How is that working out for you? Did you have any problem positioning it? I have mine mounted on the chainstay. Never thought about putting it on the downtube.
Good luck with your shot of Tequilo. May you train hard and safe on it and race with much success on it.
The Cad sensor mounted just fine on the downtube. I never thought of mounting it to the chainstay. Thanks for the QR nod, I tried the Cervelo, but the Tequilo was a better fit and much better looking.
Nice bike!
What’s the seat tube angle of the bike? Is this the new 2007 version with 78.5?
Thanks, Marcos.
Yeah, 78.5. My understanding is that this is basicly the 2007 model that QR decided to put out as a 2006.5 with a different paint job.
