I’ve mounted and ridden with my new “Pringle”. Don’t know if I will ever see any aerodynamic advantage but the Pringle works great. I’ve actually mounted 2 computers to it and they both work great. The first was a wireless that I just double sided taped to the carbon. The second was a standard wire computer. I cut the mounting bracket off (took about 10 seconds with a hack saw) and mounted it with double sided tape.
Even the LBS owner may order one as he loves the way it “cleaned up” the front of the bike!
I ate a new pringle today. They have jokes printed on them with green ink. I thought it was mold at first. My wife laughed at me and told me to turn it over.
The “pringle” is a carbon fiber curved plate that replaces your computer mount. You cut the computer mounting stuff off and tape the computer directly to the carbon “pringle”. It makes a GREAT puter mount and lowers the puter between the aerobars so its not sticking up. Its mounted to the aerobars with zip ties. Its made to fit (custom) between your aerobars.
I tried to mount the puter using velcro but it wobbled some , so I used double sided tape. Its GREAT!! See the previous post asking for pics for the manufacturer. I’ve sent him a few pics of my setup and he’ll be posting them soon, I hope!
