This was built about a week ago and I’ve had the chance to get out on it a few times so far. Really looking forward to racing it this season!

Zipp 404 Front/900 Disc Rear, Oval A900 bars, Fi’zi:k Arione saddle, mix of SRAM Red/Shimano Dura Ace components

Nicely done! How tall and what size frame?

Thanks!

I’m about 5’10" and this is the Small frame size. For reference, I raced 2008 on a P3C 56cm.

Yeah, I am 5’8.5" and went with the XS. I think either would have worked though. Could you not get the desired seat angle with the R32 seatpost?

That bike looks better for every time I see it. Congratulations!

nice!

is that your name and a USA flag decal? Where by chance did you get that made (the decal that is)?

Victory Circle Graphix in Golden, Colorado. They have an online interface where you can order them. They do a lot of work for pro teams and do a really good job, very high quality.

Wow! Nice bike Geoff.

Rich

Sweet, enjoy, I wish they had a road bike with the funky top tube.

Sweet looking ride Geoff. What races are you doing this season? Do you ever make it back to Northern VA?

-Dave

I’m putting the Qrings on mine too. Is this your first ride on Qrings? I’ve been using Rotor Cranks for over 4 years but with the Look cranks I’ll be using the Qrings.

Did you change to this seat post for a reason and not use the forward one?

Hey Dave! How have you been?

I get back to Virginia once or twice a year. I want to do Reston sometime in the next couple of years if I can get back there for it. What about you?

I’ve been on the Q Rings for about 2 years now. I really like them and they seem to work but I have no empirical evidence to support that.

I used the 5mm post mostly for aesthetic reasons. With the R32 the seat would have been either pushed all the way forward with the post in the rear-facing position, or slid all the way back with the post in the forward-facing position. Nothing really functional about it!

Damn…that rocks!

I am jealous! Nice bike good luck with it. Ride the hell out of it!
