All ready for Cali 70.3. Finished the build about 2 weeks ago and have roughly 2-300 miles on it. STIFF as heck! Love the new DA stuff, super clean shifting.

Do you have wheelbuilder disc covers on the back? How do you like them? They don’t make the wooshing noise, right?

Your other bike is WAY more aero. Quad discs and it will get you much lower than the position on your Kuota…
The disc doesn’t woosh woosh like the “real” discs, but the Xentis makes a bit of a noise. I thought of just putting a bell on the bars to let people know I was coming… I really like the Wheelbuilder covers. They are pretty light and aero. I tape the edges to make sure all is secure though. I’ve seen what can happen if you don’t install properly and the thing comes loose, havoc on the whole rear of the bike!

Yeah, my son’s bike has an adjustable top tube, kinda cool, total cheapy, but he’s 18months… And seriously aero with those discs!!!
Having had an improperly fitting Cannondale Slice, this thing is a dream. That said, I really did like the Slice. If I hadn’t gotten a good deal on the frameset, I’d have purchased another Slice - but one that fit right!

I’ll be easy to spot alright! The REALLY slow guy on the nice bike. But then - I’m guessing there’ll be alot of us on the course! I’ll probably have my license plate on too - ERIC… So, as you go by just say hi!
