Kickass brick workout when you have 2 hours and need to go hard/speedwork and it is raining outside. 20min bike (stationary) / 2 mile run on treadmill. Repeat 3 times and get faster as you go building up to the final run at much faster than race pace. Its a killer, but damn good workout. You of course could lengthen the distances or repeat 4 times, do it outside, etc.

rain is predicted at least 2 days this week, I race on saturday and haven’t done any real training the last 2 weeks because of a crash.

Yeah, that’s right…I moved to the city this summer though…and Now my schedule sucks because I go to school M/W/Th nights. If you are riding in the city on Tues/Fri I might be available. I’m tapering (kinda) now for the Diamondman on 9/11

I was thinking about Diamondman as my first half, but my knee was bothering me earlier this year, so I chickened out. Now I’m glad I did, I crashed two weeks ago at Lums Pond (same location) and haven’t done anything the last two weeks (couldn’t wear shoes for a week - was shoeless going into T2, tore skin off both feet, as well as the usual road rash).
