My New Favorite Bike

http://www.cyclingnews.com/tech/2001/photos/nov15tech/TT_bike.jpgI kid you not.

Yellow and Black Time ATAC pedals…neato - fashon over function…and what is with the years old Campy brakes? (note the BIG metal tire guides on the pads)

There’s a bit more to that bike than meets the eye…

At the Tokyo motor show Yamaha showed this distinctly UCI-illegal time trial bike. Not only does it lack the mandatory number of tubes, but hidden in that monocoque frame is battery and motor.

Screw that. Felt’s new ride is the way I want to go. I swear to you I’m so damn close to getting a fly custom crusier with 128 spokes (yes, that’s per wheel) and hitting a local Oly. Come on, laid back can be just as aero as leaning forward. Right??? I don’t see my self hopping out of the saddle on this ride though…

hey, what my competition doesn’t know won’t hurt them. Although it’s probably not the quietest engine ever, and when I passed by at 35 m.p.h. without pedaling they might get a clue.

Maybe I could just tell them there the new Power Cranks.
