My New Black Beauty!

Here is my brand spanking new black beauty that I will be riding this weekend for my first race of the year. Sweet bike so far, awesome power transfer, and fun to build up myself.

avg’ed 22.1 at my race this weekend on the steed after only riding it around the block a few times to get the feel of it. Can’t wait til I get it dialed in…http://i199.photobucket.com/albums/aa319/runpuddrun/carbon%20bike/002.jpghttp://i199.photobucket.com/albums/aa319/runpuddrun/carbon%20bike/009.jpghttp://i199.photobucket.com/albums/aa319/runpuddrun/carbon%20bike/007.jpg

You averaged 22.1 spinning that gear?!

that rear der. cable is WAY to short where it bends from the top tube to the seat stay. FYI

red bottle cages???

What are we looking at? Tim

Cool,

That’s like one of what; 8 Blackbirds in the world?

try scrolling over to the right. its so fast its moved off the page

What, no one is going to comment on the snack basket?

Style points out the ass on this. Black and nothing else. SWEET!

WOW! Very classy! What bike is this? Is it carbon?

Why did you put Profile stickers on the Syntace Blackbird Aerobar? I suggest no stickers and black cages.

ok. ok now. I knew i’d get some flak for the chosen gear, the cages and the sticker on the aerobar’s. I just built it up on Wednesday and raced it on Sunday. They were the only cages I had laying around, I will get black ones eventually, The stickers on the aerobars will come off, and yes I did go 22.1 in THAT gear, lol. (not really, just hopped off and took a few pics).

I do have to re-route the rear der cable because I cut it too short. no problems shifting though, so we’ll see.

It is a frame that I imported from Taiwan, XLAB Avenger, Beyond Fab Blink, etc…

Jesus, what size shoe do you wear? those things just look out of place.

I wear a 47, do I tend to notice these things.

Nice ride, ENJOY!

ha ha, only 44.5 (10.5) they do look quite large and out of place though.

The rear derailleur cable routing is beautiful!

I know that frame is used by several companies. I’m just curious: did you buy a no-name frame or strip the stickers from a known brand? Also, where did you get it?

I bought an unbranded, un-logo’d frame. I got it from Taiwan.

Welcome to the darkside, young jedi…

You have much to learn about embracing the darkness. Pedals, cranks, brakes, tires, cages, even the logo on the saddle must be true.

Meet your new master, Darthvélo:

Nice bike - love that frame.

From which company did you purchase it?
