My mothers day

I made this photo record for my mother and stepmother. I work in one of the busiest restaurants in the country and with Mothers Day being one of the busiest days in the industry I never get to see them on this day. So I decided to share my day with them. I also thought you folks would have some fun poking fun at the pics.

Getting started

This is all noodles being cooked, and we still couldn’t make them fast enough. Ran out several times during the day.

Sometimes I get in a hurry

My only chance to sit all day. I managed to get in 1/2 a cup of coffee.

One of our smaller dining rooms. We have seven and seat 1100 guests.

The dishwashers definetly had a rough day.

Almost done

Finally, 10 straight hours since I started. This is why mondays are usually an off day from training for me.

The other reason monday is usually an off day. Me and the rest of the crew.

Well thats my Mothers Day, how was yours?

Beautiful Restaurant. Your guy’s uniforms made me laugh, though.

Oh my god.

That carpet, those chairs, these lights, that outfit, bottle of ketchup on the table ? Could need some remodelling, that barn. Is that really a popular restaurant in US ??? Then I definately would prefer McDonalds. I guess the clients arrive with busloads… Check these :

Sir, your self-esteem must be the highest on record for you to have the guts to post this picture of yourself:

.

I find that statement quite funny, since many guys on this forum are renowned for spending hours in public wearing half shirts (i.e. a bro/man bra, etc.) and speedos, with shaved legs.

I’ve worn that damn uniform for 10 years, If I’m not over it by now I need professional help.

In the pic. of you at the table, you’re sitting at the wrong end - you need to be closer to the dark beer.

Thats not dark beer, just some Killians, thats Fosters sitting in front of me, although we switched to Bass Ale for the next round.

Where is this? What is the restaurants name?

Reminds me of the Bavarian Inn in Frankenmuth, MI.

Great restaurant, great food, great beer, great town. Going back this fall with our son who should be old enough to appreciate the lights of the town, and of course Bonner’s.

It is Bavarian Inn.

When you make a reservation ask for Jim S. to be you server, always nice to meet a STer.
