well, here she is…she weighed 5.91kg with the Zero Gravity brakes but i took em off cos the bike judders under braking so im investigating the problem…this is what she’s wearing…I’ve posted a picture before but this is the final version as I’ve tweaked here and there…loads of spacers cos i have back problems that just don’t go away…right hip shifts out of wack constantly apparently…
i sold my TT bike and loads of bike parts to get it together…this bike is an appreciation of good bike part design rather than trying to go faster…the Clavicula cranks are beautifully crafted in my opinion…to me they are the highlight…the LEW rims with the Tune hubs are so responsive its ridiculous…on a good rider, going uphill wow…they must fly…sometimes even i spin the back wheel cranking it uphill…so there you have it…a culmination of parts specially chosen as a sum of all parts and in radar-deflecting black of course…the funny thing is there’s still a lot of weight i can shed…the frame is over a kilo…the Ultegra and Dura Ace parts are not the lightest…the Q-Rings…maybe when i have some money to spend i will change the rear derailleur to the Lightweight one, the chainrings to carbon ones by Specialised TA, the gear/brake levers to SRAM Red…or whatever is lightest at the time…this for absolute weight weeniehood…i think the bike will go down to 5 kilos with this…and if i changed the frame to a Storck Fascenario 0.7 then 5 kilos or under
.
Nice Storck. I love mine. My build comes out to a bit under 17 lb. By no means a weight weenie, but I built it for high performance/$, durability/maintenance, and stiffness. It is a bit heavy for what it could be, but it is a rocket.

That’s a nice bike, but doesn’t German porn involve a donkey, a chicken, a nurse maid, a dominatrix, and a midget that just sits in the corner and laughs.
That is a stunning array of top-flight equipment. I can’t say I like the lack of graphics (not necessarily names and words…just graphics of any sort). I know there are subdued graphics there…but from a distance this bike looks too plain…too uniform…too…well…blah to me. I get the same reaction anytime I see those Ti frames people have removed all the graphics from, including wheels etc…
I guess I like my bikes a little more Formula 1-like…
