My first USAT event; rules question

Hello,

This weekend I am doing my first USAT event.

I quickly looked over the rules and didnt see anything about clothing requirements.

Do I need to wear a shirt and socks after the swim?

I ve done non USAT events in the past and I would exit the water and throw on my cycling shoes and be off…

Socks - whatever you want here

Shirts - I just browsed the rulebook & don’t see it addressed. However, I have seen this rule put in place from the race directors. Just ask race director if you have to wear one.

per usat rules, neither are required. However, the RD may make a rule stating that you must wear a shirt and have it approved by usat for the race. I doubt that the RD would do that though
