My Feet are falling asleep

Hey - I know there has to be a simple fix for this, but my feet (toes specifically) are falling asleep when I ride - What’s the best way to correct this? I don’t think I’m strapping my shoes too tightly (though it’s possible) -

I saw a thread (but didn’t read it) about falling asleep while riding the other day - was this about the same thing?

I’m wondering if you’re compressing your dorsalis pedis artery. It runs along the very top of your foot. You might need to loosen one (of the 3) straps on your cycling shoes. Of course, I might be completely wrong on this.

During long, hard efforts i lose feeling in my 2nd and 3rd toes mostly in my right foot. I find that just remembering to move them around in the shoe from time to time helps prevent this. I will also unclip on long rides and just rotate my foot around a coule times while I get a drink. I thought that i was the only one who did this, but I saw a guy on the break in the tour do it today too - go figure.
