I know people will say you shouldn’t mess with a classic, but Peanut Butter, Raisins and Honey in a white bread sandwich makes a welcome end to any workout.
Just thought I’d share my sandwich happiness.

Will try it tomorrow, thanks

In high school my personal fav was toasted rasin bread, with butter, salami, and honey. Not sure how I ever discovered it, but man it was tasty! I still get a craving for it, along with toasted PB&J…might have to throw some honey on there too
Now I can’t get enough of the “Happy Way” at the local deli. Roast beef, cheddar, sprouts, avocado, tomato, cream cheese, mayo, mustard on whole wheat bread.
Stupid fact of the day…honey is the only food that NEVER spoils. It solidifies, but can be boiled back down into liquid. They actually found honey comb in the tombs in egypt, that was melted down later and still good!!!
Damn, now I am hungry

A caprese - fresh mozz, tomatoes, basil on a panini with basamic vinagrette.
crap I thought this was one of those XXX rated threads!
Recovery: PB&J
When I get to my race weight: 18 inch Fried Soft Shell Crab on French bread w/ Mayo, Tom, lettuce & hot sauce
.
Damn men and their metabolisms!
I still prefer a nice warm pastrami on toasted rye with a little swiss cheese, a dab of mayo, a nice hot mustard, and possibly some sauerkraut.
Definitely the French Dip sandwich. Unless of course you happen to sink your teeth into some cartilage - that just ruins the day - might as well just pack it in and go back to bed.
Grilled lobster, avocado, a squeeze of lemon, some sea salt and a little black pepper. Served in a slightly grilled Ciabatta bread.
If not, then a top quality roast beef, some Dijon French mustard, a touch of horseradish, fresh organic tomatoes and maybe lettuce.
Finally, sun dried tomatoes, goat cheese, Greek olives and basil.
These are proper sandwiches. Not all this American peanut butter malarkey.
“… a nice MLT — mutton, lettuce and tomato sandwich, when the mutton is nice and lean, and the tomato is ripe. < makes puckering sound > They’re so perky. I love that …”
A nice leftover meatloaf sandwhich. Served cold with lettuce and ketchup. Has to be mom’s meatloaf though.
Toasted bagel with old chedder, cucumber and alphalpha sprouts.
Or the sandwhich I grew up on… brown bread, cheese, lettuce and thousand island dressing. I ate that every day for at least 10 years, and still love it. Almost as good as grilled cheese.
Not all this American peanut butter malarkey.
LOL - not heard any one say malarkey in ages!
Sorry but nothing beats a chip butty with lots of malt vinegar and a side order of a savaloy (sic) or two.
Tuna sandwich:
1 Can tuna
a little bit of mayo
a little more of cottage cheese
a little green onion
a dash of parm cheese
and a couple dashes of dill
Yummie. Eating it right now.
Nice…gotta love the Princess Bride quotes.
The Grilled Cheese Sandwich!

I (almost) always have one ready.
