I think the women have a good argument against US soccer. They have a shit argument against FIFA for prize money or their professional teams, the latter isn’t even remotely fiscally possible.
That’s probably why there is only the one lawsuit.
And no other than the World Cup I don’t watch women’s soccer generally because there’s too much high quality men’s soccer as is.

Yes, I watched the women’s world cup and I know lots of other people that did. The women’s jersey is selling way more than the men’s.
So you watched an event that takes place once every four years and know the women’s jersey sells better than men’s.
Next time you’re at a soccer field note the jerseys young boy soccer fans are wearing. I’ll give you a hint, it’s not a USMNT jersey. There are far better players worldwide and those are the jerseys the boys are buying. So sure, the USWNT is NIKE’S best-selling jersey, but that’s because many other jersey’s are made by ADIDAS.

Well yeah, that will be for the courts to decide. All I’m saying is that the women do seem to have some basis for equal pay for equal work from US soccer, but that appears to be about the only situation that that argument could hold water.

Which part, that article seems to be indicating what I said. It’s ambiguous in any part where equal pay might pertain to the women’s professional league. It’s a non-starter anyway. There’s just not the money.
It’s important to keep in mind that we don’t have to divide ourselves up into rabid SJWs and people that must think women’s soccer sucks.
