I’m a dog person. We have a Boxer and Basset Hound, but last night we had a new addition to our pack. Cole, the most beautiful (and so far mellow) puppy I have ever met is now one of us. He is 11 weeks old, 25 lbs (!?!) and Great Dane. Here are some pics:

omg! what a wonderful bunch of hounds you have! great dane puppies are fun. all they do pretty much is eat, sleep and grow.

What a lovely trio. Cole is going to be a handful, he’s already sorted out the “who, me?” look sorted. THat will ensure the other two get the blame even when he is caught red-handed! THe boxer (sorry, you didn’t give the names of the existing two) is giving you the "the thing’s gonna off in your hands and blind me again look! A beautiful family which I am sure give a lot of love.

Whereas I only suspected I was nuts before yesterday, now I am completely sure of it. Our other dogs are females, as were our previous two dogs that have since passed away. My wife always joked that she would never have a male dog because of having to see “the pink lipstick” (her term - NOT mine) all over place. In a household with a wife, daughter and two female dogs I was sorta enjoying my role as the lone ranger, the undisputed king of the castle. But now we have a freaking Grate Dane. I guess I have a few more months before the inadequecy feelings start to sink in…lol
Cole will lead you a merry dance, both literally and metaphorically (both on and leash and off!), but you will enjoy every minute if it. You couldn’t wish for a better partner in crime, and the bonus is if you bonk on a run he really could carry you home
Wow, all three are very nice dogs, but Cole is indeed most beautiful.

hopes you won’t cut his ears. I have to agree that he is the cutest puppy I’ve ever seen. I do prefer the natural ears in all breeds including your boxer. And to make this a true slowtwitch post-I like the Basset’s couch better than the other one. (My dogs-all 5 have full rights to all house furniture as well)

Funny you liked that couch. I have a ‘nice’ living room with nice furniture and a throw away living room to withstand the dogs fury and my masculine side. That couch IMO looks like airport funriture. It is a double recliner and only cost $300 new at Weekends Only. But it is amazingly durable and comfy! I bought it expecting to replace it every six months or a year but it has held up. Molly and I going out formal:
I like comfort and durability. My husband always wants to replace things just as I think they’re reaching their peak. I just like lived in. Those couches, actually look like they’re a few years from perfect. LOL
