Looks fine to me. Why do you need help?

It looks good to me too but that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s correct. Just looking for different opinions. Thanks for looking.

Agree looks good . Especially good looking bike. My Triton is black with gold alps front and hed3 of blackwell diac rear.

It’s correct if you don’t have any problems. I was wondering if you had any specific issues that might need addressing.

I guess you could tweak your position a bit. Go lower in front, move your elbows in, etc. But I don’t know if that would be right for you.

That pic is not very good for a good analysis of your position. With a good pic I bet everyone would be saying that you’re too high in the front end. Seat height looks good though.

The bike: custom Griffen made out of their own propietary material called boron carbide, awesome ride.

It has a 51.5 top tube with 76 degree seat tube and then I scooted my saddle a bit forward so in this picture I am riding 78 degrees. The only issue I have is with the neck. As you can see I have to raise my head quite a bit to look forward so after 3 hours this starts getting painful. Not sure if all I need is more adaptation time, but then again if Bjorn can ride the way he does this looks like a touring position!

I am the short torso, long leg type so I have to watch how much I lower the bars before my legs start hitting my chest. Anyway, with the neck issue I am not sure I want to go lower, I am doing Wildflower tomorrow like this we’ll see. I don’t know I could ride Ironman in this position.

Thanks for looking, keep it coming.

Tom D, Slowman are you out there??

I wish I looked that good.

I have the same body type, which means that to get lower, I must make sure I am forward enough. You look forward enough to drop another inch in front.

The neck comes around – it just takes miles. After Wildflower, try it lower. You’ll be faster.

Let me find my protractor. Will be back later.

It actually felt pretty good in WF. I stayed in aerobars for most of the climbs so that should be a sign that something is right.

Any more feedback is welcomed.

I raised the saddle a bit for WF about 3mm but then saddle started feeling uncomfortable.

Nasty grade included?

Only the first half

Only the first half

Pretty sweet…that mother f-er gets me every time. Had a 22mph up to the base of it and then literally hit a wall…I think I just need to accept the fact I suck at hills. I didn’t pass a single rider. I would have gone faster had I just gotten off the bike and walked up it.

A youngster like you shouldn’t be having neck issues, yet! Wait till you get old! That said, I think you should be lower in front…low enough that your ears are below the highest point on your back…unless you have very high-set ears, it’s a decent indicator of being low enough up front. On longer races, this position may be very good…on shorter, faster races, I’d like to see you try and drop that front end an inch and see how you do practicing with it for a while. Like someone else said…this may mean you have to slide a little more forward, too, in order to get lower and still have good knee-chest clearance.
