I don’t know what really got to me on Saturday. I am normally not like that, and I normally don’t let people get under my skin. I should have just ignored what was said, and I am regretful that I turned it ugly.
SlayerHatebreed: I abhor your statements about my rabbits (as they are very, very precious to me), but I do apologise for what I had said. I think of my rabbits as my children (as they are), but I reacted poorly. I realise that some people do not feel the same way that I do about pets. But that is no excuse for the way I had reacted.
I am now going to get busy training, as that use of anger goes better on the trainer rather than a forum. I will also not post anything personal, unless it has to do with the sport. I have been doing the sport of duathlon and bicycle racing, as well as mechanics and some construction long enough to post on those subjects *somewhat *intelligently. I probably glue tyres better than anyone I know, and I don’t use 3M Fastack, either.
Anyway- off to the trainer; I am going to put in my 2003 TdF Team Time Trial video for inspiration.
No, I don’t want to participate in any group hugs or any crap like that
Thanks for the great deal, nice job gluing those CX tires too.
Regards,
-SD
I missed it, but that’s terrible that someone said something bad/mean about your bunnies. Personally, I’ve been thinking about bunnies ever since you post and actually went to look at one yesterday. So, your post was delightful to most of us and actually inspired me to consider adding to my own pet family. Please do not let one person make you feel as though you cannot post personal things. You are an intersting person with varied interests. Frankly, I enjoy reading your posts and find you to be one of my favorites. I’m sorry that someone was rude like that. please reconsider and keep your usual posting style–otherwise you’ll be keeping yourself from the rest of us, and that just isn’t fair.
regards, kittycat
OK - But do you promise to keep poting things like:
Integrated headsets suck and
All bikes should be lugged steel?
I’d sure hate to be the only other retro-grouch on the board.
BTW - I gotta put my lugged steel Battaglin on the stand tonight and start working on some of the surface rust… That’s the ONLY thing that sucks about steel bikes!
I had asked for a couple of my posts to be removed, but the one where I was a total hypocrite (some crap about being ladies and gentlemen) stck, mainly because I was not specific.
“You are an intersting person with varied interests. Frankly, I enjoy reading your posts and find you to be one of my favorites.”
Wow. That means a lot to me. I always love reading your posts, as well. I never go onto this forum thinking I had fans, though I am certain I lost some (if not a majority of them) on Saturday.
Please feel free to e mail me at any time with any questions about rabbits. Also, go to www.rabbit.org .
I may feel compelled to post about personal stuff at a later time, but I figured out that maybe I was spending a bit too much time here.
I am trying to find that other crank. It will come to you as soon as I find it.
Those ARE related to the sport.
Make certain you spray some Frame Saver inside those tubes, as well.
Everyone soner or later has a bad day…relax & take it easy no one holds you to it. You just got a little pissed off. On to bigger & better things.
Peace…
