After swapping pm’s with Ironguide (Marc), I would like to offer my sincere apology to Lisa.
In light of the circumstances, my attempt at humor was inappropriate.
As stated in the thread, I was not familiar with her story and was making fun of her use of the third person.
Marc pointed out that her use of the third person was intentional “…because the perspective reflects the severe fracturing and loss of sense of self that traumatic events induce.”
While Marc did not think an apology was warranted, it never hurts to say you are sorry.
