I thought the series of articles Jeff wrote in preparation to the first Musselman race was one of the most entertaining and interesting I’ve read on Slowtwitch.
Gret coverage. Thanks!! Watch Susan Steinberg - she’ll surprise on the run.
susan was up there, in the top 4 or so. right now it’s kristin white smacking everyone. but let’s see about 6 miles in what the leaderboard looks like.
She was hit by a car this time last year and had 6 months recovery. Awesome swimmer (college swimmer few years ago), good cyclist and very good runner. Took 4 or 5 in her age group at Columbia with severed shin splints. Much better now.

“Took 4 or 5 in her age group at Columbia with severed shin splints.”

yep severe - fat finger typing.
Did I believe 7 min miles and cried the whole way
