Anyone have any thoughts on cassette for the course?
I have never been on it or even ridden in the area, profile shows a good bit of up in it.
I’ve got a 12-21 on now. Thinking maybe switching to a 23 (or 25?) would be wise???
Depending on what sort of rider you are, 21 might not be enough. I use a 25 myself, but I like to sit and spin the hills, saving my legs for the run.
ITs a pretty fast course.
One or 2 quick climbs and the mostly flat to rollers. I’d say 21 is fine.
I used a 23 when I did that race a few years ago and don’t recall needing anything easier and my bike is nothing to write home about.
