I am Jewish and have no problem with Muslims…I have a problem with extremists of any kind, Jewish, Muslim, Christian, etc.
Sometimes people don’t understand that war starts out political and ends up personal.
Ask any young woman or man who has had a round crack by their head in anger or seen a friend wounded or killed. Politics goes out the window. Even the most graceful person simply defaults to a rather understandable emotion: Survival.
This is the sad reality of war. Once we travel down that road- however necessary- it is a long way back toward empathy and trust.
