I know Jasper Blake was second w/ Jonathon Caron (jonnyo) five seconds back but does anybody have a link to the results, they are not posted yet on either the webpg or sportstat.ca. Joel do you have then inside scoop for results??? Good job on Jasper and Jonny BTW! Sounds like jonny had a kick ass last 3k.
Jonathon Caron was racing the Half 1/2 in Victoria, not Muskoka. But do you mean that he got third? That’s great! :-)))

Whitfield wins.
oh shit, I got my f*cking races mixed up. My bad. Yeah I got an email from him, i think typed from the race site. His spelling was worse than usual, much worse. He started the run 2nd, dropped to 6th then had a great closing 3k to vault back into 3rd.
The guy deserved the good performance, very, very cool
.
and a rather decent paycheck. maybe I can back charge him rent for the winter!!!
LOL!!
So that means you will quit being is main sponsor?!
Congrats Jonathan!
Well done!!
LOL…Mimi loved that response
.
When they’re ready, Race Headquarters will post them, likely late tonight at: http://www.raceheadquarters.com/results/multi05.htm
.
Excellent news!
like you said SAC… He deserved that! sub 48 minute 15km? Snap! That’s fast! I think equally impressive is Sam McGlone at 11th overall.
I think SAC was talking about jonnyo…not Simon W…not that he doesn’t deserve the good performance, but we know jonnyo and he is a really cool guy, glad to see him have a good race.
I am fairly sure SW already had some fairly good races…I recall one in Sydney some years back
Sydney? What was there? … Yeah, It’s just nice to see that he’s having success in his transition to longer stuff. And hopefully he does well when he makes the big leap to full Iron distance whenever that is.
Here are the results for the Victoria Half Iron. There are two links as they break it down by men and women.

So who on Slowtwitch did the race.
I was over for Father’s day and was able to watch the swim and bike but could not stick around for the run. You know Father’s day and all.
Jasper was looking good when I last saw him on the bike and had moved up a bit. Scott looked like he was so strong on the bike.
On another note: Lori B. was looking good when I was chatting with her. She did not look too pregnant. Forgot to ask how far along she was but she had that soon to be MOM glow about her. She always has a smile on her face. You have to like it when a professional triathlete that is pregnant, gets up early in the morning to do body marking. I think that is pretty cool. Can not wait to see her racing again.
I think that Scott Curry set a new bike record and overall record on the new course. Pretty good. The weather was great for racing.
Khai did:
251 251/337 M33/36 M2529 5:57:12 102 Khai Lee 254 39:36 28 1:18 215 03:07:03 17.9 223 3:47:56 182 1:48 276 02:07:29 10:16 Vancouver,BC
Nice job buddy!
I talked to him after the race - apparently he was closing on Jasper pretty quickly, but just ran out of room. Still, a fine effort out there!
good job to you also on your race. I thik your swim is starting to improve.
Pretty solid effort out there Khai, proud of you man Now you just need to learn out to drink more gatorade
.
I did it; wore my Peaceful Tribe singlet and got a few positive comments about it. I had a good day for me, and it was perfect conditions.
Someone passed me early in the bike (like a rocket) and yelled out “Slowtwitch!” - who was that?
Deke
Super race for Jonny! I was in Muskoka, too bad I couldn’t be at both races. Also props to the womens winner in Vic, Charlene Waldner, training partner to jonnyo and others, taking the course record from Mel Spooner with a great race.
