What do you all think? Any obvious improvement I should make?

I was able to stay in the aero position the entire ride.

Thanks.

You spend money on an aero helmet and then u put on the gloves…? Lose the gloves in future.

I am aware of the MIT results re: gloves - I just kinda spaced it when I set up to race. Too many years of always wearing gloves.

I am considering trying to narrow the arms a little as well as pushing my hands and elbow forward another cm or so - at least for shorter races.

Gloves - not just un-aero, but also consumes time to put on and take off.

I’m also interested in this because his position is a lot like mine. And this was a “POSITION” question, not an “aero gear” question. So - aside from his incorrect gear, what about his position?

Seriously, do u want to know why no one has responded to the positioning issue…? Because the pics are not the best to tell regarding the positioning. At least set the bike up on the trainer (with pics taken from the side) at home is there is no spectator pics (taken from the side).

Going without gloves is a good suggestion. Your racing top is a trifle on the baggy side. You may want to investigate a more form fitting one or a one piece suit.

You are doing more right here than wrong by far though- the drinking system was a good move as is the aero helmet. Well done!

Thanks.

The top was snug in the store but got baggy when I was riding in the aero position. I will get a Large and use it for training.
