sidenote, the deplorable state of politics lately has been expanding our vocabulary in great ways. ‘impanel’ is a great verb, as is ‘prorogue.’
I want to believe this but his victory has me really thinking he is bullet proof. I mean the simple fact such an obvious baby man is president makes me think he can’t be touched. Everyone knows he is an ineffective complete moron and self absorbed asshole but there he sits in the Oval Office. It’s like a sign from the universe, “He fuck faces! You humans suck. The federal probe into alleged ties between the Trump campaign and Russia has expanded to focus on possible financial crimes, including those not necessarily related to the 2016 presidential campaign, CNN reported Thursday.
I appreciate the meme. Sincerely.
But it makes a big difference. The apparent collusion with Russia to undermine our democracy can and probably should result in the end of the Trump presidency as a matter of hard law. The nonsense over transgenders in the military is a straight distraction over a non-story.

Trump was right all along, the investigation into Russian involvement in the election was a non-issue. There is zero chance that they changed the result.
Trump started to get concerned however, when there were signs Mueller would expand the investigation into his finances and that is why he got rid of Comey and why his team are trying to dig up dirt on those working with Mueller.
It’s the money trail that is going to prove problematic for Trump, not interference in the election.
Of course it is a distraction. Everything about it was smoke. Good thing competent leaders in the SecDef and CJCS acted appropriately.
