I have no ideas, but am excited to see the finished product. Trying to convince myself I need to get a mountain bike to play around with, and I certainly would be partial to a Litespeed one.
For a fork, I personally love my RockShox Revelation RLT, I’ve got one on my Stumpy 29er HT, and my Stumpy 26er full boinger. I love the dual air-sprung feel.
As for components I’ve got Sram X9 on both my bikes and I’m happy with it, but if money isn’t an object, why not go with X0 or XX?
You should take advantage of the frame’s ability to take a tapered steertube fork. Any of the current high end offerings from Fox and Rock Shox are great.
For the group, again to make the best of the frame’s PF30 BB a BB30 crank would be ideal. Any of the previous suggestions for XX, X0, etc. will work great.
Post photos when it’s done. It should be a really nice bike!
1-Get a tapered fork for the 1 1/2 headtube. 100mm Travel
2-Take advantage of the pressfit BB30 and get the Sram XX crank so you don’t have to worry about adapters.
3-Mix of XX and XO depending on your colors and $$$ left over.
4-Talking to the Litespeed rep he recommended a Carbon stem, handlebar and seatpost for a comfy but still stiff ride. I really like Easton but Ritchey makes some great stuff as well. Niner just introduced their new carbon seatpost which looks very nice and as a bonus it says NINER on it.
5-The new reynolds wheels are great, they are perfect for it.
I rode a full XX cohutta with the reynolds carbon at interbike this year. I loved it and plan on getting one asap. That thing rips and makes my Niner Scandium air 9 feel like a turd.
