Mt Washington Hill Climb, does anyone have a CT file of the course?

I am sponsoring the Mt Baker Hill Climb this year and we have a CT file for that course but would like to have the Mt. Washington one for comparison to give out to the people who desire.

I think that I have one. When I get home this evening I will check and let you know.

I’m pretty sure they don’t compare. Does anything really compare to Mt. Washington?

I doubt the weather compares but I think the length and gain are similar. Mt Baker is 4300 ft in 24.5 miles.

http://www.geocities.com/Yosemite/Gorge/2922/usa/uw1.gifIf you can’t find a pre-built course, it should be pretty easy to construct from this profile. Looks like a steep but pretty even gradient to me - some 12% IIRC…

I take it those are meters and not feet. is the distance KM or miles?

Mt. Baker is over 3 times as long and has about 10% less gain it looks like…so yeah, they don’t compare.

You are right, there is no comparison. I did not realize Mt Washington’s course was so “short”. Bet it doesn’t feel short to those doing it.

yeah… looking at those numbers I’d say that would fit the profile of a nice HC climb should we ever have a Tour of New England. wish they would pave that sucker all the way up

"wish they would pave that sucker all the way up "

– or actually open it up to cyclists, for that matter…
