For this racing season TEAM SECONDHAND RACING will be doing 3 duathlons, 1 century and a smattering of road races. Cheer on TEAM SECONDHAND RACING as I jiggle around the course and have much fun. I will be posting my apperance so you will know when to stay clear.

Sorry to burst your bubble Mr. Tibbs. That sounds really great and all, after what you have been through. I need to point out the obvious.
You aren’t a real triathlete until such time as you join the rest of the posters on this board in lapping me at IM Lake Placid.
Maybe 2005 will be your year.

I told my wife that you are planning to start racing. She is very pleased with your progress. Don’t worry about the second hand equipment in my first year of racing I bought a second hand Giant OCR bike with Sora components – there is nothing more fun than overtaking all the Quintana Roosters (RIP), and the FISTED carbonated types while seating on a piece of harsh aluminium. It was a religious experience – every time I used the front shifter I had to pray to God that she doesn’t decide to drop the chain again.
