Anyone moved with a bunch of bikes in a cargo van? we have movers taking all of our furniture and stuff but are going to move our 4 bikes ourselves. Was going to rent a 9ft cargo van and am hoping to for all four bikes, a trainer, medi sizes dog crate, and a couple small boxes. Just wondering if it will be big enough…
Turn the HB’s sideways (and maybe rotate the bars down), remove the pedals and alternate direction of each bike, moving blankets between them. Should be plenty of room.
I work for a bike shop, we have such a van and move about 9 bikes a time on occasion.
we have a 15 pass van. take out the last seat and we had room for 6 bikes, a genset, shit load of luggage. just Too Much Stuff. you should have no problem with only 4 bikes.
