Movie Review: The Holiday

Retarded.

I thought it might be a cute heart warming holiday flick like, Love, Actually was a few years a go, but it wasn’t. I wouldn’t even recommend it as a DVD, home with the girls drinking wine movie. It sucked.

Damn. I was looking forward to this flick. Why was it so horrible?

Really bad acting (Cameron Diaz was horrible), lame story line, forced emotions… It was totally panned on Rotten Tomatoes the site we usually consult before going to movies, but we went anyway. Lesson learned.

I really liked Love Actually (yeah, it’s a chick flick, but I’m French, so bugger off! ) and I also liked The Holiday actually…

Anyway…it’s Xmas time…so I watched Love Actually once a week…I know most of the dialogues…including the portuguese ones…

There were some really sad aspects to *Love Actually *that prevented me from getting my arms around the movie.

But wasn’t it worth it to look at Jude Law??? I’ll probably put it on my netflicks list cause Jude Law is dreamy.

Yes indeed, Jude Law made it a little less painful to sit through.

It had such potential to be a good movie, and I was so disappointed.

I’ll have to netflix Love, Actually.
