Mounting polar speed sensor

I there a way of mounting the speed sensor without zip ties? I had a Sigma Sport one that had kind of a heavy duty rubber band to attach the sensor too and I never had any slipping problems. But that had hooks on it to secure each end of the band to while the polar had the holes for something to go through.

I have a Giant TCR with their aero fork which gives very little front edge to mount the polar to and it keeps slipping either sideways or down. Any suggestions?

The sensor should have come with a little pad that is sticky on one side and rubbery on the other. The pad prevents the mount from moving.

I don’t know where one can get replacements pads if you don’t have them already. Maybe if you contact Polar, they can send you some?
