Mountain Bike Advice (2)

There is no benefit in a costly bike fit for a mountain bike. You just move around too much. A fit that works in a bike shop may not work on a trail. For some races I’m changing stem, handlebars and seat. Same with tires and cassette but that’s a given.

Trek was junk for so long I honestly don’t even look at them. I’m sure a lot has changed but its just the stigma that sticks with me. I despise Gary fisher bikes just because they are a dime a dozen. Although not so much now with everybody owning niner bikes. Gary fisher as a guy is a cool cat, I just have this thing about his bikes even though they are good bikes (and are basically Trek bikes now). I think trek threw in the towel on mountain bikes and just took Fishers designs.

I know nothing of pivot.
